About me.

Hello! My name is Hannah (she/her). I am a sexual health educator based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I have worked as a healthcare provider for over four years in the area of neurosciences and women's health. I have seen firsthand the effects that the lack of sexual health education has had on our society, both professionally and on a personal level. Over the last year, I have been working to become a sexual health educator. I am now a graduate of a program I took at Options for Sexual Health. I am currently working towards certification as a sexual health educator in my practicum period.
Over the last couple of years, I have realized that my true passion in life is sexual health education. Bodily is a word I learned throughout this time of reevaluation: the term is defined as “by moving a person’s or one’s own body with force, as a whole.” I don’t know about you, but that’s my goal in life. To feel alive, to feel whole. I believe that feeling whole is a human right. So much of our society is dehumanizing. Chronically ill patients can feel like science experiments, homeless citizens can feel like creatures, surgeons can feel like robots, chest-feeding mothers can feel like cows, women can feel like plastic dolls. This only perpetuates violence. My goal with Bodily is to help people find the tools to feel human again. To recognize the human experience. To feel whole. To move through the world with force.
