An invitation to understanding your body better.

Tampons

I understand that sexual health education can be a sensitive topic. That's why I have created a safe space for individuals to learn and grow.

Book your child's

Period Party!

Just like birthdays, getting your period is a big milestone worth celebrating! A period party educated and celebrates what a period is, why we get periods, and what to do about it. You pick the place and the time, I supply the invites for your child to hand out to their friends, and then I show up for the party and handle the rest. A 2 hour period party is free but I encourage folks to donate money to end period poverty. Investing in your child's well-being is worth it.

What Happens at Period
Party?

We Learn.

First we learn about the basics of periods. What they are, why they happen, and what to do about them! We get to ask questions in a safe space with friends.

We Create.

Then we do an activity together that will help us feel grounded with this new knowledge and understanding of our bodies.

We Laugh.

The best part of the party is that we get to have fun! We get to learn about periods with friends who will all go through the same thing and we can laugh about it!

"My daughter and her friends had so much fun at their period party! As soon as we left, she started talking about everything she learned from Hannah in a way that demonstrated confidence and excitement towards having her period, which typically can be met with worry and embarrassment. It was evident that they learned a lot from Hannah. Hannah was organized and thoughtful and created a space where the girls could ask uncomfortable questions about their bodies. I also feel like the period party fostered a sense of community amongst the girls. They know they have each other to talk to about the ups and downs of puberty and growing. Hannah is helping reduce the stigma of having a period and is imparting knowledge in a way that helps our girls have power and acceptance over their bodies."

At Bodily, we focus on organizing Period Parties that ensure the safety and comfort of your children. If you have any questions how we establish safe environments for these gatherings, please don't hesitate to ask.

Personal Diary

I acknowledge that this land I reside on is Treaty 6 Territory, which is the homeland of the Métis people. I acknowledge this because it is all our responsibility to learn more about the treaty system and how its abuses have affected Indigenous peoples and settlers. Comprehensive sexual health education is rooted in the value of consent, bodily autonomy, and equitable access to sexual and reproductive health services. Colonial practices strived to oppress, eliminate, and control Indigenous bodies and bodily rights. It is my goal to work towards sharing the land in a way that respects the true spirit and intent of the treaties.
